Brad and Cecilia Headrick developed the Smile for the Birdie brand in 1995. It started as a part time business run out of their home, and over the years grew into the most highly regarded frame line in the children's industry. Smile for the Birdie is an international brand that can be found in high end boutique stores throughout the world. The line is a staple in mom and pop shops, but it has also been sold by chains such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms.
After 15 years in business the Headricks decided to retire from Smile for the Birdie. It was recently purchased in August of 2010 by Reesa and Rick Qualia, owners of Renditions by Reesa, LLC. Smile for the Birdie has been moved to Lubbock, Texas. It will be operated out of the same warehouse as Renditions by Reesa. The high quality product will remain the same customers have known over the years. Rick and Reesa are excited to continue to grow and develop the Smile for the Birdie brand. They also plan to expand the line to offer products that coordinate with Renditions by Reesa products.
